This Privacy Policy describes how Chapter Street Inc., d/b/a Rowe ("Rowe," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website builder platform and related services (the "Services").
1. Information We Collect
Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and business information you provide.
Store Content. We collect the content you upload to create your store, including product inventory, product photos, descriptions, and other information you choose to include.
Third-Party Credentials. If you choose to connect your Shopify account, we securely store your Shopify credentials. Square integration uses OAuth, meaning we do not store your Square password.
Payment Information. We do not directly collect or store your payment card information. Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles your payment data according to its own privacy policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide and improve the Services, including to create and host your online store, generate website content using AI, process transactions, communicate with you about your account, and ensure the security of our platform.
AI Content Generation. To generate website content for your store, we share product photos and related notes with Google AI models. This information is used solely to create content for your store and is processed according to Google's privacy practices.
3. How We Share Your Information
We use third-party service providers to operate the Services. We share product photos and descriptions with Google AI models to generate website content. If you connect your Square or Shopify accounts, your product inventory syncs with those platforms. Stripe processes your subscription payments — we do not send your personal information to Stripe. Your data is hosted by Supabase. We may also disclose information to comply with legal obligations or protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers located in the United States (AWS us-west-2 region) through our hosting provider, Supabase. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, but no system is completely secure.
5. Cookies
We use cookies solely for authentication purposes to keep you logged into your account. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking.
6. Your Choices
Account Deletion. You may delete your account at any time. When you delete your account, we permanently remove your store, products, and all associated data from our systems.
Access and Correction. You may access and update your account information through your account settings.
7. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on our website and updating the effective date.
